My current research area is the development of a Peirce-inspired model of the relation between semantics and perception. The research involves philosophical investigation of cognitive sciences data and semiotic analyses of perceptual and semantic phenomena.

I have a BA in Communication and an MA in Semiotics both achieved at
Bologna University. I specialised in Cognitive Semiotics, working on
the borders between semiotics, philosophy of mind, cognitive sciences and ethnography at the Center for Semiotics of Aarhus University.

I consulted for and participated to didactic, communication and
research project for the Universities of Bologna (Forlì and Buenos
Aires detachments), Trento and Aarhus. I also worked as a free-lance
consultant both with Studio Semioticamente and independently.

I collaborate with Cognitive Semiotics, international peer-reviewed journal on semiotics and cognitive sciences.
