Hello,
I am the Language Director for the Kaw Nation, a Native American tribe headquartered in north central Oklahoma. I am also a Masters student at Oklahoma State University, with hopes of persuing a PhD in TESL/Linguistics. For the past six years, my focus has been on the preservation and revitalization of the Kaw language, known also as Kanza or Kansa, specifically in the way of research (especially documentation), education (language classes for tribal members), and publication (language learning materials and ethnohistorical materials).
