Born and raised in San Francisco, CA and currently attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence pursuing an MA/PhD in Anthropology. Currently hold an MA in Linguistics (San José State University) and a BA in International Studies (Monterey Institute of International Studies). Current focus is on Native American languages, cultures, and history. Specifically I'm working on Biloxi (Siouan) doing a dictionary and ethnography as an MA thesis, and I hope to work on Soke (Zoque) in México doing a grammar and ethnography for my PhD dissertation. Also interested in endangered language and culture documentation and revitalization.
