The notion that a cluster of symptoms known as Metabolic Syndrome (symptoms include; obesity, heart disease, diabetes, anxiety disorders....)   can be developmentally modulated fascinates me. I'd love talk to others, in any discipline about this socially taxing epidemic. My Master's thesis describes the differences in feed back/forward interactions between mother and infant (in my case rats) that are correlated with the CORT surge signaling birth, and how this may contribute to later life health consequences.
